Our Church History
New Life Bible Baptist Church was founded in July 2000 as a ministry outreach of Cleveland Baptist Church, Cleveland, OH. The Ypsilanti-Ann Arbor area was laid upon the heart of our Pastor, Rev. Robert W. Mack as an area in need of a Christ honoring, soul winning, people caring Baptist church. In this day of churches trying to fit into society, we believe it is the Principles of God that need to change people to God's way. Our desire is to provide a church where the Word is preached (we use the KJV 1611 Bible in all of our teaching and preaching), families are strengthened (we have numerous children and youth ministries), the hurting can find healing and every believer is able to utilize his or her Spiritual Gift(s) to the honor and glory of God.
In July 2000 the first meeting was held in the home of the Adkins Family. We quickly outgrew their home and began renting space at Washtenaw Community College, from August 2000 - November 2000. In December 2000 we had grown to the point we could move to a facility located at 5300 W. Michigan Avenue, Ypsilanti, MI. We seen God move in many wonderful ways.
In April 2005 we were able to purchase our own building at 1175 S. Grove Rd., Ypsilanti, MI 48198. Our church has grown in many tremendous and glorious ways since we moved to this facility. We praise the Lord for all He has done.
